REAL ESTATE / MOTOR VEHICLE DEALERS

Motor Vehicle / Real Estate Dealer Tax is taken under the ordinance of “ISLAMABAD REAL ESTATE AND MOTOR VEHICLE DEALER ORDINANCE 1984”. This Tax is collected from all Motor Vehicle Dealers and Real Estate Dealers, who has their offices within the territorial limitation of Islamabad.

STEP – 1 :

1. Applicant can visit the E&T office for registration. OR
2. E&T deputed official (Inspector, Sub-inspector) inspects different areas of Islamabad and deliver notices to tax defaulter under the concerned ordinance.

STEP – 2 :

The following documents are required for the registration:

1. Application to ETO on office letter pad.
2. Photocopy of leasing agreement of the office.
3. Photocopy of National Tax Number (NTN)
4. Photocopy of owner CNIC.
5. Any paid utility bill of concerned office.
6. Paid Fee Challan

STEP – 3 :

The following fee/dues are deposit in State Bank of Pakistan Islamabad or National Bank Pakistan, Islamabad, E&TD branch, Islamabad. Fee Challan is deposit in the account No. B03053.

1. Security amount : Rs. 10,000/-
2. Registration Fee : Rs. 2,000/-

STEP – 4 :

License Certificate is handed over to applicant within couple of working days.

Renewal of Registration:

1. Registration license certificate will renew in June of every year. Renewal fee as under:

a. Rs. 600/- (without any fine).

2. If renewal fee is deposit in July, then extra fine will be deposit at the rate of Rs. 250/month.
3. If any applicant deposit renewal fee in August and before September, then it will fined at the rate of Rs. 500 / annum.
4. If any applicant deposit renewal fee in September, then it will fined at the rate of Rs. 1,000 / annum.
5. If any applicant deposit renewal fee after September, then it will fined at the rate of Rs. 5,000 / annum.
