Excise & Taxation Department, Islamabad is introduced end-to-end encrypted Biometric Verification Receipt for new registration as well as transfer of ownership of vehicle, sample of the Vehicle Biometric Verification Receipt and its features are mentioned below:

Vehicle Biometric Verification Features:

• Vehicle Biometric Verification Receipt can be obtain from NADRA e-sahulate centres within Pakistan.


• End-To-End Encryption


• Seller Biomtric concent alongwith Purchaser name and id (provided by seller) save in the Biometric transection.
• Both (Seller & Purchaser CNICs are verify from NADRA Database)
• Vehicle identification through Chassis Number and Registration Number.
• Vehicle Transection Type also mention for secure process.


• Vehicle Biometric Verification help in :


• To enhance revenue and take action against benami assets.
• Minimaze the Seller complaints related to delay in vehicle transfer of ownership.
• Minimaze letigations relation to vehicle registration.

Announcement regarding Vehicle Transfer of Ownership (where *Seller availability issue persist)

Incase Vehicle Seller Biometric is not available then following rule will be followed:

• If Seller deceased / Expired Then ;


• Copy of Seller Death Certificate
• Copy of Secession Certificate from Authorized Court.
• Consent from all Heirs / Biometric and Consent from Power of Attorney Holder (from all heirs).
• Original Vehicle Registration Certificate (Form 'G')


• If Seller out of Country / Abroad Then ;


• Copy of Valid CNIC of Seller
• Copy of Valid Passport along with valid exit visa of Seller
• Seller Consent for transfer of Vehicle attested by consulate.
